Tema Acheampong is a 10-year-old Canadian actress of West African and Chinese descent.
Tema’s acting career started at the age of seven with commercials for PetSmart, Mastercard, and Pebbles cereal, and her first part in a movie was also at seven years old in Hallmark Channel’s A Royal Queens Christmas. Tema plays Young Sloane in Netflix’s Workin’ Moms.
Tema is a pre-pointe competitive ballerina, and she loves sleepovers, aerial acrobatics, and swimming.
Tema is a member of ACTRA and is represented by Norbert Abrams of Noble Caplan Abrams.

What’s your favourite food?
Pizza, rice, gum, lollipops, and popcorn!
What do you love the most about yourself?
I like that I’m nice, and I like that I can do lots of different styles with my hair.
What is on your acting vision board?
I would love to be in lots of cartoons and have people ask me for my autograph.
What’s your favourite thing about acting?
My favourite things about acting are getting to be emotional, meeting new people, and having snacks from the craft truck!
Who would you like to meet and why?
I would love to meet Mariah Carey, Britney Spears, and Miley Cyrus because I like their singing.
What are your favourite subjects in school?
Art, recess, and gym.
What city would you love to visit?
I’m named after a city in Ghana called Tema, so I would love to go there one day.
Do you have any silly hidden talents?
Of course I do! I can put my foot behind my head and I can burp on command.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
A singer, a dancer, an astronaut, a spa person, a gymnast, and a very flexible person.
